In 2015, Mr Kosuge was appointed Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) NHS Trust in Harlow. He has now taken on the responsibility of leading the Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics. Having graduated from the British Orthopaedic Association’s Future Leaders Programme in 2018, he hopes to use his leadership skills to guide the department during what is a challenging but exciting time for PAH.

Mr Kosuge was on a list of names of reviewers who made a significant contribution to The Bone & Joint Journal in 2019. Mr Kosuge has been a reviewer since 2010 and enjoys his responsibilities for the well respected journal. He is exposed to the latest trends in the field of Trauma & Orthopaedics and uses his role as a reviewer to keep up-to-date with orthopaedic research.
