He was very patient and reassuring, explaining everything that would happen during the procedure and true to his word, I had an epidural and felt nothing during the operation, I was out of bed walking with a frame the same afternoon. The following day I was walked down to the Physio department to be shown exercises that I should do and walked back to my room with elbow crutches. Dr Kosuge came to visit me the next day to check everything was OK and I went home the following day. He listened so well and I so appreciated the way he spoke to me .
