Mr Kosuge offers private consultations at The Rivers Hospital, High Wych Road, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0HH, for patients across West Essex and East Hertfordshire. Both insured and self-funding patients are welcome.
Consultation Fees
Consultation fees cover your outpatient appointment with Mr Kosuge. They do not include the cost of subsequent investigations such as X-rays, MRI scans, or blood tests, nor treatments such as injections, physiotherapy, or surgical procedures.
Paying for your care
Insured Patients
Mr Kosuge is recognised by all major insurers. Before your appointment, please notify your insurer and obtain any required authorisation number, and check whether a policy excess applies.
Mr Kosuge's contract to treat is with you as the patient, so whatever your insurance arrangements, you remain responsible for ensuring fees are settled.
Self-Funding Patients
Self-funding patients are very welcome. Consultation fees are shown above. For independent transparency, Mr Kosuge’s fee and performance information is also published on his profile with the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN), the Government-mandated body for private healthcare.
For surgery, The Rivers Hospital offers an inclusive fixed-price package for most of Mr Kosuge's operations, so the main costs are agreed from the outset. Package quotes are available from the Premium Care Office on 01279 704700.

A self-pay new patient consultation is £250. A follow-up consultation is £175, and a pre-operative consent appointment is £125. Insured patients are covered according to their policy.
