Consultation

Mr Kosuge offers private consultations at The Rivers Hospital, High Wych Road, Sawbridgeworth, CM21 0HH, serving patients from across West Essex and East Hertfordshire. Both insured and self-funding patients are welcome.

Consultation fees cover your outpatient appointment with Mr Kosuge. They do not include the cost of subsequent investigations such as X-rays, MRI scans, or blood tests, nor treatments such as injections, physiotherapy, or surgical procedures.

Insured Patients

Mr Kosuge is recognised by all major healthcare insurance providers, including BUPA, AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA, Allianz, Healix, Benenden, and The Exeter. Prior to your appointment, please notify your insurer and obtain any required authorisation number. Depending on your policy, there may be an excess to pay at the start of a claim — please clarify this with your insurer in advance.

Please note that Mr Kosuge's contract to treat is with you as the patient. Regardless of your insurance arrangements, you remain responsible for ensuring that fees are settled.

Self-Funding Patients

Self-funding patients are very welcome. Consultation fees are available on request from the Premium Care Office at The Rivers Hospital (01279 945693) or via the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) at phin.org.uk.

For surgical procedures, The Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth offers an inclusive package price for most operations performed by Mr Kosuge. This covers the surgeon's fee, anaesthetist's fee, and hospital fee, giving you clarity on costs from the outset. Please contact the Premium Care Office for further information.
