Mr Kosuge Recognised for Training Future Orthopaedic Surgeons
Mr Kosuge was delighted to be nominated for ‘Trainer of the Year 2025’ by the Royal London Hospital Trauma & Orthopaedic Society (RLHOTS). This is an annual award voted for by resident doctors in training on the Royal London Hospital Orthopaedic Training Programme. Below is Mr Kosuge’s nomination:
In May, Mr Kosuge was co-convenor of the British Hip Society’s Principles of Total Hip Arthroplasty Course targeting Trauma & Orthopaedic trainee doctors run at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
Mr Kosuge thoroughly enjoys training the future generation of surgeons and remains dedicated to improving his training abilities and techniques. In addition to the clinical and surgical side to training, Mr Kosuge stresses to his trainees the importance of putting patients at the centre of ones clinical practice.
